Feel in control with Careology
Careology helps you stay on top of every aspect of your treatment, from managing your symptoms to your medication reminders. The app is available to download on your smartphone or tablet through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You may have already received an email from us inviting you to sign up.
The Careology app is designed to support you throughout treatment, keeping everything you need all in one place. You can use the app to keep connected with your clinical team and wider support network in between appointments for complete peace of mind.

Stay connected
Access advice on how to manage symptoms so you feel supported 24/7 even when the nurse isn’t with you.

Record and journal
Record your symptoms and side effects directly into the app. Write down questions and jot notes to easily track how you’re feeling. See when to contact your clinical team.

Personalised content
Better understand your condition with personalised well-being articles relevant to your cancer diagnosis including recipes, tips and articles about topics like mental health and fatigue management.

Manage medication
Use the treatment journal area to log all your medication, symptoms and side effects to easily track changes to help manage treatment.
Understanding and managing your symptoms
The app provides a traffic light system that prompts you to get support when you need it. Below is an example of the advice that Careology may provide you with after logging a symptom:
Green – Your symptom can be managed at home. Careology will give you advice on how to do so.
Amber – Your symptom requires follow-up within 24 hours. Logging 2 or more amber symptoms will require contact with your clinical team urgently.
Red – Your symptom requires contact with your clinical team urgently.
With patients permission, assigned clinicians can monitor the treatment journal so they can spot when things aren’t right and intervene early.
Family and friends can be added to the app so you are always connected with the people that matter most to you in your wider support network. To do this, open the app, go to the menu at the top left corner of your screen, go to ‘My Network’, then ‘Caregivers’, and ‘Invite Caregiver’. Through the app, family and friends can then see all the updates you input into Careology.

What our patients and clinicians say
74% of patients reported feeling more in control of their cancer journey while 83% of clinicians found Careology helped facilitate patient discussion and education.
I really like the notes as a memory aid – for both me and my nurse. I have used Careology to look at patterns in how I’m feeling, to see if it is on the same treatment days. – Oncology patient
Well, it’s been brilliant. When you have a cancer diagnosis or a diagnosis with anything nasty, it’s just really good because for every step, it’s like having someone there (with you). – Oncology patient
Careology helps alleviate patient anxieties between appointments and gives them fundamental peace of mind, supporting them throughout their cancer journey. – Director of Nursing, Lloyds Clinical
We know the benefits of cancer care at home
For nearly 30 years we’ve pioneered the delivery of specialist cancer care services out of hospital, in patients’ homes.
We work to the highest clinical and safety standards. Our highly trained oncology nurses and clinical nurse specialists deliver 1-2-1 clinical treatment at home, with the equipment to respond as they would in hospital.
Our specialist cancer services ensure private medically insured and self-paying patients who want an alternative to hospital can start their treatment faster.
