From referral right through treatment we provide a consistent and supportive journey right through the treatment process.
We work to the highest clinical and safety standards. Our highly trained oncology nurses and clinical nurse specialists deliver 1-2-1 clinical treatment at home, with the equipment to respond as they would in hospital.
High quality treatment safely at home
Every day we’re helping patients take control of their life, enabling time and flexibility to prioritise family life and work. Our clinical teams work closely with hospital consultants, to give patients the highest quality treatment, in the comfort of their own home.
Assessment, review and referral
Following being assessed as stable and suitable for treatment outside of hospital, patients are referred by a clinician or referral centre. Once they have consented, they are booked onto our service.
Setting up
Following acceptance of the referral, patients are registered and provided with all the relevant information about their care outside of hospital. The patient may receive an install visit by a healthcare professional 48 hours prior to treatment where base line observations, risk assessment, pre-treatment toxicity assessment and bloods may be taken.
Careology
The patient is introduced to the award-winning Careology app which helps patients stay on top of every aspect of treatment, from managing symptoms to medication reminders.
Prescribing
The clinician reviews blood results and toxicity assessment and prescribes the treatment using the Lloyds Clinical iQemo prescribing system or pre-authorised prescription template.

Screening
Lloyds Clinical screen the prescription using blood results. The Lloyds Clinical cancer nurse checks bloods and liaises with the clinician to escalate any results that are out of range.
Medication dispensed
Medication is dispensed or made at our compounding facility in Derby. Our facility has the infrastructure to manage the entire prescription journey from manufacturer to administration. Our highly qualified and knowledgeable compounding teams work to the highest regulatory standards.
Medication administering
Medication is delivered to the patients home by an appropriately trained driver. It is then administered safely by one of our cancer nurses.
Observations, outputs and reporting
Everything is uploaded to iQemo by a cancer nurse for the clinician to review. The referring clinician will remotely supervise the treatment pathway of the patient and recommend adjustments where necessary.
