Lloyds Clinical has developed eSign Baskets, a new digital innovation to enhance electronic prescribing workflows.

The first of its kind, this innovation was developed following feedback from consultants, prescribers, pharmacists and at-home clinical teams who were experiencing operational inefficiencies managing electronic prescriptions via email.

eSign Baskets represent a significant step forward in digital prescribing workflows, digital patient safety and reducing administrative burden.

What is eSign Baskets?

eSign Baskets is a secure digital platform that allows NHS Trust teams to manage prescriptions collaboratively and efficiently. Multiple authorised users can review, track and sign prescriptions, with Lloyds Clinical receiving only the final, fully approved version.

The platform provides full visibility of every action taken on a prescription, ensuring transparency and accuracy throughout the process. Prescriptions can be marked by priority level, helping urgent treatments progress more quickly and supporting timely patient care.
