At-home blood monitoring piloted for cancer patients
This World Cancer Day, we’re proud to announce our partnership with Entia, to provide at-home blood monitoring solutions to our cancer patients and specialist nursing teams.
Entia’s ground breaking monitoring solution, Liberty, allows patients to take blood tests at home and for those results to be shared seamlessly with our oncology nurse team. The simple-to-use tests reduce the burden of in-person patient assessments while also unlocking new insights that drive more personalised, preventative and high-value care pathways within the community. This new service offering enables:
- Early detection of changes for faster and more accurate intervention
- Personalised insights to guide patient treatment,ensuring timely escalation and better outcomes
- Patients to have greater control of their treatment and freeing up precious time
Advancing and enhancing clinical care at home
The partnership marks a pivotal advancement in cancer treatment delivery, integrating Liberty’s innovative full blood count analyser with Lloyds Clinical’s oncology nursing teams to support patients receiving some of the most challenging and complex cancer therapies.
By combining data generated from patients self-testing at home and experienced clinical oversight, the partnership aims to reduce the occurrence and severity of treatment complications so that patients are able to achieve a better quality of life and improved outcomes.
